Polymarket has struck a new partnership with the Golden Globes, becoming the awards show’s exclusive prediction market partner ahead of the 2026 ceremony.
Announced on Friday, the deal marks a first for the Golden Globes and will integrate Polymarket’s real-time, market-driven live insights for the show’s live event. The collaboration is designed to give fans a new way to track winners across film, television, fashion, and pop culture during one of awards season’s biggest nights.
As part of the partnership, Polymarket branding and live data will be featured at the 2026 Golden Globes official viewing party, enhancing audience engagement.
“The Golden Globes have long been a place where audiences debate and predict what will happen next,” Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan said in a press release. “Polymarket reflects those expectations through markets spanning entertainment and culture, and this partnership brings that perspective directly into one of awards season’s biggest moments.”
Craig Perreault, president of Penske Media Corporation, which owns the Golden Globes (and also Rolling Stone), called the partnership a step toward reimagining how fans interact with awards shows, saying it unlocks a “groundbreaking new frontier” in audience connection and engagement.
“Deepening the connection between fans and their favorite films, shows, and actors strengthens the entertainment industry and highlights the award-winning content celebrated at the Golden Globes,” Perreault said in the release.
The 83rd Annual Golden Globes will air live on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+. Nikki Glaser is hosting the event at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. One Battle After Another leads the night in nominations for films with nine nods, while The White Lotus taps the list in TV nominations with six.
