David Letterman‘s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction returns on Dec. 16 with a new slate of guests. The Season Six trailer for the interview series finds the host throwing darts with Michael B. Jordan, hitting home runs with Jason Bateman, and lightly interrogating MrBeast, who may or may not be into human sacrifices.

The clip previews Letterman’s high-energy outings and sit-downs with the film, television, and internet stars. “I feel like a semi-man right now,” Bateman announces from the pitch at Dodger Stadium. When Letterman wasn’t downing hotdogs with the actor, he was insisting to Jordan that he’d never played a video game before (Jordan fact-checked him here, reminding the host that Pac-Man does, in fact, count as a video game).

Earlier this year, Netflix renewed My Next Guest for Seasons Six and Seven. The most recent season of the series included conversations with Miley Cyrus, Charles Barkley, and Caitlin Clark. Previous guests also include Barack Obama, Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jay-Z, Robert Downey Jr., Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Dave Chappelle, and Billie Eilish.

Letterman has racked up Emmy Awards nominations with My Next Guest, including a win for the special My Next Guest With David Letterman and John Mulaney, which was awarded Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special in 2024. The series is executive produced by Tom Keaney and Mary Barclay for Worldwide Pants as well as Justin Wilkes, Michael Steed, Isabel Richardson, and Yolanda T. Cochran for Jax Media/Imagine Entertainment.

Another one-off episode of My Next Guest premiered on Monday, Dec. 1, with special guest Adam Sandler. For their interview, Letterman met Sandler backstage at his comedy tour to talk stand-up, film, music, and more.

“I’m surprised that I’m still doing it at my age. On the other hand, I still get a kick out of what we’re doing. So what does that mean? I don’t know,” Letterman told GQ last year about the latest phase of his career. Still, he doesn’t plan on slowing down: “Retirement is a myth. Retirement is nonsense. You won’t retire. The human mechanism will not allow you to retire.”
